Rise of the Beastmen - Seriously, amazing mode at making the Beastmen relevant throughout the whole game. Greenskins Teef Currency The Vampire Counts faction get their own currency based on dark magic, which somehow has a one-to-one conversion rate with the Imperial Gold Crown, but the Greenskins are stuck with generic coins. They're slow to shoot, but effective when they do. This mod ensures they stay on the dance floor for a few more spins, and since their movement is random and it's possible they'll turn on you, it's not too unbalancing. I came to the total war series thanks to these Warhammer influences, having never played the older games I was flung head first into battling it out Warhammer style and this suited me just fine.
In battle however, Lords become a force to be reckoned with; Lords and Heroes have spells and special abilities to set them apart from other units in ways measured by the corpses in their wake. It also adds special rules to other units to make them faster and harder-hitting, though no more survivable. Total War brings years of refinement and expertise to the table and lets the battle unfold magnificently. Don't know for sure though correct me if iäm wrong.
